WHAT IS INDERA ONLINE EXHIBITION?

Indera Online Exhibition is a new concept for measured drawing exhibition and presentation.

This exhibition offers thorough study of one of heritage building in Kelantan focusing on Istana Jahar located in Kota Bharu region.

The process of data collection, measuring and documentation is perform on 8 August 2021 until 15 September 2021 whereas the exhibition day is on 23 September 2021 by 2:30 p.m.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of students of University Malaysia Kelantan under Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics (FSE), under the course of Architectural Heritage Study (Measured Drawing) 2021. We would like to express our gratitude for giving us chance to undergo and finished this course despites of limitation mainly because of the COVID19.

Due to pandemic, our cooperation for the group are limited causing only half of us able to do measuring, data collecting and research on site resulting in insufficient man power working on site for the first few week. Thus the member that perform Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are trying their best to support their team and do a fair amount of work and be responsible in all the task distributed from each team leader.

OBJECTIVES

To be exposed to technical skills in producing measured drawings through right techniques and specifications

To acquire documenting skills for historical buildings and their conservation through measured drawing

SECTION IN DOCUMENTATION PROCESS

Drawing

Producing both measured and submission drawing

3D Modelling

Producing 3D model of Istana Jahar, Balai Senjata and surrounding site with animation

Multimedia

Producing video, photography, website and poster.

Report Writing

Report that compiling details of the research and documenting it in the form of coffee table book.

PROJECT PHASE

PHASE 1

Lasted for 4 weeks at Istana Jahar where we moved as a team to measure the palace to produce a floor plan and base drawings. Respective team are divided along the phase to perform each team task - Team Drawing, Team Multimedia, Team Report

Visited Istana Jahar for the missing detail from each team and organize interview session with respective individuals as for further information of Istana Jahar.

Combining the results of our work in each team member at their respective accommodation to comply with the prohibitions of the SOP.

EXCO IN CHARGE

Drawing, Multimedia & Report. There are 3 main exco in charge divided among students depending on the scope of study and task for each group in other to produce required content for the exhibition. In the meantime, the students among themselves switch one another between the group to make sure the workload and task distributed are well done as the expected date.
